Ulyana Sergeenko is a Russian designer and a photographer, whose recent collection sparked up the interests of many! Her collection carries the strong sense of russian culture, it is a style twist of the 50s and modern day. I cannot get enough of her vintage lookbook and the shoes that the models are wearing, they are absolutely gorgeous! Other than being a designer she is also a model and her personal style has put her at the top of my biggest style icons... <3

It was one my friend's last night out in dubai so we all got together and went out on what was meant to be a hipster night filled with indie music but instead it turned into something else...But anywho the picture above is what i wore last night: Turquoise bandage skirt and a loose black top with lacey ends, paired up with my favorite nude gladiators and a bunch of accesories. The only downside of that night is that i lost a few of my adored rings. The new owner of my rings is a lucky man...but oh well, more space in my collection for new ringzzz

Living in Dubai for over 5 years has made me forget about snow and rain so when i started thinking about how i am going to leave Dubai soon the first thing that occured in my head was the cold weather...Hence the shopping spree for cosy warm clothes has began! My favorite buy was this knitted teal sweater with buttons at the back and my cute lil stache necklace. I paired it up with a high waisted skirt and wrapped it in a big juicy brown belt!

Valentines day, one of the most hateful and depressing celebrations for all the single people out there but for me this year it actually turned out pretty fun.

Unlike last year, when i spent my valentines day trekking and crying in Nepal, this year i baked some adorable sweet goodies in order to raise some money for a school project. And for all the single ladies we have made the lovable forever alone faces that accompanied them with their cupcake!

Now that most of my friends are in relationships we started hanging out together and went for a couple bowling session! And i got some lovely presents from my boyfriend :)

Lazy Sundays

It's sunday and i am already counting down the days until it is the weekend again. I had no energy to do anything today so i have stayed in bed all day watching how i met your mother and stuffing myself with chocolate, great start og the week. I then noticed how deformed my nails looked so i knew i had to do something about them...so here they are, fresh and fixed!

I usually stick with dark solid colors but every once in a while everyones needs a splash of colors! I was inspired by the Missoni collections which is why my nails are done in vibrant colors and with a twist of a pattern.

I am not a morning person but today i could not stop smiling, purely because it was the happiest day of my life. I received my first reply from one of the universities down in New York city, saying that they have...ACCEPTED ME!

I've been to the Big Apple few summers ago and oh my god i cannot describe how excited i am to go back there...

I spent my weekend down at the beach watching the annual Sunset Open Surfing competition but this year i took part in it as one of the sunset open girls eeeek!

I got my own bikini that was specially crafted together by Mahiki and Roxy and I also got my own sache. The hardest part of that job was walking around in bikinis when It was freezing cold both days so imagine what it'd feel like...

Nevertheless i managed to still tan up this winter time and have a great time!

Christmas time is approaching and oh how all of us are so excited to get our presents!

I actually got mine two weeks earlier, that's how badly i wanted it...

My dear boyfriend got me an ipod touch and oh i love it, now i can finally use the Instagram app to take gorgeous photos and play Angrybirds all the time.

For the past week i have been trying to come up with a christmas wish list and it turned out to be harder than i thought to think of the things that i want.

I have always had a thing for old school typewriters and hopefully one day i will bump into a cute one at a vintage sale!

Another thing that i have been eyeing this Christmas is the MAC Flamingo lipstick created by the iconic Iris Apfel. Sadly they will only launch the new make up range in January but then we can start new year in fresh color!

Other than that i've got everything i want: my favorite cherry candy canes that i can munch on in my new pjs, which have an awesome bulldog on it. Ps. i want a bulldog if anyone want to get me one for christmas?

It was my dad's birthday so i went shopping down at MOE, and the amount of adorable things i came across made me want to hug them and never let go. So my boyfriend bought them for me..

And the one thing that always cheers me up are the Starbucks Cups.

I am a loyal tea/coffee drinker and i like to drink in style, so i never miss a chance to stop by coffee shops and home stores to check out their cute mugs!

Genest has been an inspiration to the Thierry Mugler's Autumn/Winter men's collection and has been spotted in Vogue Japan and Schön Magazine.

I was always repulsed by the human anatomy but that was until i came across Rick Genest, who made it look breath taking with the help of the tattoo artist.

Whenever i look at strangers' bags i only look into the extrinsic beauty but forget the idea that we shouldn't judge the book by it's cover. And It got me wondering as to what sorts of things different people actually carry in their bags: it's part of their character and shows which little things they value! It could vary from just a pair of keys hiding in the side pocket or an old ticket that reminded them of something from the past. I came across a photographer named John Travis, who created a series called 'Persona', which explores the concept of personal belongings. It is fascinating to look at the things that were chosen to be photographed and even how they have been laid out.

I have never believed in fate until last night when my hair met the shaver! When i showed the hairstylist a photo of Alice Dellal's undercut, while laughing she said she did her hair in London during fashion week. She thought it was a prank as no one in Dubai has asked her to do this sort of thing and i was so honored to have her cut off my hair, that i have been growing for years! It was terrifying to hear the noise of the shaver next to my ear yet thrilling to see the outcome of it. This is the exact change that i needed. DRIANGLE

My friends and I finally decided to go to the beach now that the weathers cooled down a bit and my boyfriend took me out for a paddle earlier in the morning. The ocean was full of massive jellyfish so i was more concerned of falling down rather than enjoying the gorgeous view of Burj Khalifa! Afterwards he took me out to check out the sea urchins, such a romantic.

And on the other new, the Kardashians are here! Kim and her mom are staying down at Atlantis and they'v been spotted at Dubai mall making milkshakes for their fans, sadly i missed the curvylicious Kim. Also wanted to wish good luck to the B Fabulous event that's happening tonight down at the 4 walls art gallery!

Back in the day when it was chilly and we could sit outside and bum out down at the beach, but now Dubai is heating up and i can't get my tan on so i am stuck inside! That teal beanie that i'm wearing, i've misplaced it at a party but finally after a year of searching managed to find the exact same one so YAY!

Oh and that asian guy in his silly outfit is my bro...

Anyway i might be going down to the second hand, vintage camera shop tomorrow to check out few film Nikons & Canons and hopefully buy one eeek!

For the past two weeks i've been really busy working: yesterday i had to dress up as a ballerina.... But now i am done and I have finally managed to get a day to myself and get some photos done for my blog, whoppieee!

Lately I've been spending a lot of my summer days with my gingerlicious boyfriend! I went to see Harry Potter with him few days ago and to be honest i was slightly disappointed: it might have been because i've read the books and knew exactly what was going to happen. Nevertheless Potter will always be in my heart!
Anyway I promised my man that i'd cook for him, because he always does it for me, and i'm supposed to make him a 3 course meal...So yeah. I don't really cook. I occasionally make pot noodles.
So if anyone has easy recipes or ideas?! Then please do share!

Family Friday

NO ONE IS IN DUBAI...so i turned to my familia.

It was just a casual day at the mall, i went shopping and got two jackets, feather earrings, earphones and shoes. And i'm FINALLY going to get my baby Nikon back, he should be joining me this sunday, hopefully.

I also registered to do my SATs in october, felt so productive. In addition to all the IB essays and presentations that i have to prepare over the summer i now have to also read a fatass SAT book.

Now the summer begins....

Sorry guys i've been real busy and i only just found time to put the photos together so there you go...

Benny Benassi was AMAZING. We all danced non-stop til 3am: my legs and knees were killing me but the pain was worth it. We left the night with funky looking bracelets and memories to remember for the rest of our lives! If Benny Benassi is ever around in your town then i recommend to go see him.

My Nikon camera is currently being fixed so i shall upload my outfit photos later on this week.

My June begins with a ticket to the Benny Benassi concert which i am so very excited about. I've been waiting around for a year to listen to someone who will make me dance all night until my feet hurt and finally he is here.

I was the girl who stole cherries from my neighbor's tree and ran around with the boys all day. Then i moved away and I now live in a sand box that we call Dubai. I can't survive without air conditioning

and my laptop. Doodling on paper, with a Staedtler pencil aka the 'Bee,' was my hobby. In the past

two years my doodles have finally evolved into some sort of art. I have also recently developed passion towards Lomography cameras.
